Greetings Community below is information about our doctors for our discussion on the COVID- 19 Vaccine.
As a practicing Internist in Southeast Michigan, Dr. Tendai K. Thomas MD FACP has over 18 years of experience in Preventive Medicine. Tendai earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2000, and then completed her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital of Ann Arbor. Her clinical interests include women's health, weight management, diabetes, hypertension, and the treatment of other chronic health conditions. Outside of clinical medicine, Tendai oversees Quality Improvement for her Provider Organization, which has allowed her to develop and fine tune administrative skills and talents as well.
Last year, Tendai's interest in Health and Wellness and close care for thousands of patients prompted her to become the founder of Create Wealth With Health LLC after seeing the vast needs for better education and expansion in the arena of healthy living. This new platform has allowed Tendai to teach, empower, and educate others on how to live long, healthy, and prosperous lives.
Outside of her work life, Tendai is fully committed to her relationship with Christ, and considers herself to be Kingdom-minded and driven. She has been happily married for over 18 years and has three children. In her spare time, Tendai focuses on her year around training as an endurance athlete. Her daily commitment has allowed her to live out her dream of qualifying and successfully running the Boston Marathon on several occasions.

Dr. Preston Thomas is a Family Medicine Physician who believes that patient care should be a physician's first priority. Born and raised in Pontiac, MI, to the late Hon. Preston G. Thomas and Gloria Thomas, Preston graduated from his native High School near the top of his class, was Senior Class President, and participated in several sports. After high school, he attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Human Physiology in 1996. He continued his education and currently holds a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI (2000) and completed his Residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI (2003). He specializes in preventative care for the entire family. He is currently married to his wife of over 20 years, Dr. Tendai Thomas and has three children, Preston III, Jada and Grace. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, running and watching movies.
