Gary Schwarze Memorial Scholarship
Urban Fit Kids would like to honor the commitment and resilience of Gary Schwarze, a long time Advisory Board Member of our organization. Mr. Schwarze deeply believed in our mission of empowering children and their families to take ownership of their own good health. Gary was passionate about serving the community and an inspiration to others on how to manage their own Type I diabetes journey, in part because he did not allow the disease to prevent him from living life fully. This scholarship is meant to honor that legacy by identifying students who demonstrate resilience and capacity for serving their community.
